Ionian Explorers are the only and most distinguished event operator in Greece , in the sector of sea outdoor activities. The company markets a wide range of sea events aiming to satisfy the needs of corporate and individual clients in Greece .

The company, in its 4th year of existence, has established a reputation in Greece for providing high quality services for individuals and groups.

Ionian Explorers has divided into 3 departments. The Scuba diving center the Sea kayak tour operator and a corporate event department.

Ionian Explorers was founded in 2002 by 2 Greek Scuba diving instructors George Kiriakos and Nikos Pipinis who decided to give up their occupations and invest in their love for nature and adventure.

Ionian Explorers was the first Greek company specialized in sea adventure corporate events. The main intention of the company is to offer another perspective of the country and create a better understanding and appreciation of the Greek culture and landscape, as well as to propose programs on active holidays.

This Department focuses on corporate sea environment events. All programs are designed with high factors of safety, creativity and professionalism.

The sales network consists of the head office in Lefkada.

Ionian Explorers sells its products in the domestic and international market via tour operators.

Guides

All sea kayak guides, group leaders, skippers, dive masters, etc. are officially licensed and all water sports activity guides are trained internally according to the RYA and PADI law standards of safety. Everybody who works for us is fully trained and qualified in First Aid.

 

 

The following equipment is owned by Ionian Explorers and maintained to a high standard and replaced when necessary.

2 Oceanic RIB'S, 6,0m long with 90 HP Mercury engines plus,

1 Zodiac GRIII 4.7m with 45 HP Honda Engine

1 Oceanic RIB 7,5m long with 240 HP Yanmar Diesel Inboard Engine

Ionian Explorers have also access and ready to use up to 20 new model Ribs 6-13 meters long

Kayaks

22 double seat and 4 single seat, Necky sea and Prijon- kayaks

Camping gear

40 X 2–person and 10 x 1-person tents, mattresses, 4 x 25m2 mess tents and full cooking equipment for catering 80 people.

1 Air compressor PARAMINA 13, 30 Air tanks, 20 Regulators, 100 masks, 100 fins, 30 Wetsuit
